Universities: An arena for political wrestlers.
The Chancellor of the Universities of M.P. that is virtually the governor has packed the Adversary panel for Vikram ‘versity with Congress followers or Congressmen at the recommendation of ArjunSing, his son Rahul Singh, Motilal Vora, Himachal Pradesh Governor Urmila Singh, Dig Vijay Singh and V.C.Shukla.It is alleged that the Vice Chancellor is follower of RSS. If it is all-true then it is eminent that there will always be political treading, fixing and bating in the ‘versity.and nothing relating to education, improvement and development in the field of knowledge will be done. Politicians are never interested in intellectual development in any state but to secure the interests of their nears and dears only. That is why Urmila Singh the Governor had recommended the name of his son-in-law Dr.Sodhy. These appointments will further reduce the standard of the education in the ‘versity.
The wonderful thing is this that Governors play like puppets in the hands of the politicians. This is natural also as their appointments are also done on their loyalties to Sonia and Gandhi –Nehru dynasty and their survival is not on their qualitative work but on nodding heads like waging tails by dogs.
I failed to understand why there was a Special Comment in the Free Press (Sep.14) about ‘Education: Sangh men ruling the roosts’. It is a game by goons, for goons and of goons, let them play. General public has no say in the matter and students are also not interested. Otherwise they would not have agitated to remove the previous Vice-Chancellor of Vikram ‘Versity.
